Compilation of Local Nature Reserves for England
Project Details
Local Nature Reserves (LNRs) are designated by Local Authorities and a digital dataset of LNR boundaries for England has been compiled. The initial data capture project was completed in January 2005.
The declaration of LNRs is ongoing and anyone who can assist in supplying boundaries of newly declared LNRs is asked to contact the project team (details below). If boundaries have been captured digitally, please supply the digital files, otherwise a copy of the paper map can be posted to the address below.
